Justin Bieber on Wednesday donated more than $30,000 (U.S.) to help Nashville recover from the flooding that hammered the Tennessee city in May.

Bieber played the Bridgstone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday and gave $1.06 of every ticket sold to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for Flood Relief.

Bieber tweeted after the concert, “We gave $1.06 per ticket sold tonite to Flood Relief needed here in Tennessee. thanks to all of u tonite we raised $32,690 for those in need!!!”

Bieber, a teen singing sensation, is 16 and from Stratford, Ont.

Taylor Swift, a 20-year-old American signing sensation, donated an impressive $500,000 to Nashville flood relief right after the storms hit.

This week, Swift also edged out Bieber to become the 2010 choice for celebrity induction into the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.

Swift barely beat pop star Bieber in voting carried out by bowling fans. The two singing sensations were among nine celebrities the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America nominated for their public support of the sport.

Meanwhile, a new animated video spoof of Bieber’s popularity called The Justin Bieber Show hit the Internet yesterday.

In it, the animated Bieber character is confronted by a series of strange and morbid characters, but remains unfazed and cheerful.
